Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the Fundamint website and participation in our training programmes. By accessing our website or enrolling in any programme, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read it carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- "Fundamint", "we", "us", "our": refers to Fundamint, the training provider based at No. 12, Jalan P. Ramlee, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "User", "you", "participant": refers to any individual accessing the website or enrolled in a programme.
- "Programme": refers to any training offering including the Tool Walkthrough Workshop, Training Toolkit & Community, and Tool Mastery Programme.
- "Content": refers to walkthroughs, guides, annotated screenshots, written materials, and all other programme resources.
- "Website": refers to the Fundamint web presence accessible at the domain associated with this document.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or enrolling in a programme, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement
- You have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them
If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to this Agreement.
3. Description of Services
Fundamint provides educational training programmes focused on practical use of budgeting apps and personal finance tracking tools. Our programmes include:
- Tool Walkthrough Workshop (RM 470): A single guided session covering setup and first use of a participant's chosen budgeting app.
- Training Toolkit & Community (RM 1,420): Access to a guide library and a moderated Q&A community forum for self-paced learning.
- Tool Mastery Programme (RM 3,980): A multi-session structured programme spanning 4–6 weeks, including practice assignments and a certificate of attendance.
All content is provided as general, publicly available information and practical tool guidance. Nothing in our programmes constitutes financial advice, financial planning, investment advice, or any regulated activity under Malaysian law.
Programmes are delivered in-person in Kuala Lumpur and/or online, as agreed at the time of enrolment. Availability is subject to capacity.
4. Enrolment and Payment
Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and a written confirmation from Fundamint. Places are not reserved until payment is received.
Payment
All prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all materials. We accept payment via DuitNow, bank transfer, and other methods communicated at the time of enrolment. A receipt will be issued for all transactions.
Refunds
Refund requests submitted more than 7 days before a scheduled session start date will be refunded in full. Requests submitted within 7 days of the session start date will receive a 50% refund. Requests submitted after the session has begun will not be refunded. Toolkit & Community access, once granted, is non-refundable. In the event Fundamint cancels or reschedules a session, participants will be offered a full refund or alternative date.
5. User Responsibilities
As a participant or website user, you agree to:
- Use the website and programme content for personal, non-commercial purposes only
- Treat other community members with courtesy and respect in all forum interactions
- Not reproduce, redistribute, or share programme materials with third parties
- Not post harmful, defamatory, or misleading content in community spaces
- Provide accurate information during enrolment
We reserve the right to remove participants from community access or sessions for breach of these responsibilities, without refund where the breach is attributable to the participant.
6. Intellectual Property
All website content and programme materials — including walkthroughs, annotated guides, written content, and format — are the intellectual property of Fundamint. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for your personal learning only.
You may not copy, resell, republish, or adapt programme materials for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
All training and materials are provided for general information and practical guidance only. Fundamint does not:
- Provide financial advice, investment advice, or any regulated financial service
- Make any representations about the financial outcomes of using budgeting tools
- Endorse any specific budgeting application or financial product
If you require financial, legal, or tax advice, please consult a licensed professional.
Our website and materials are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Fundamint's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our programmes or website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific programme giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data, loss of income, or any financial outcome arising from the use or inability to use a budgeting tool covered in training.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to community platforms or future programmes if you breach these Terms. You may cancel your participation in accordance with the refund policy in Section 4. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination of this Agreement.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within 14 days of receiving a written dispute notice.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
